Fantasy Premier League: Best Forward Options For The Remainder Of The 2020 Season

PIERRE EMERICK-AUBAMEYANG(premium option)

Aubameyang has been Arsenals go to option this season. He has had a prolific season scoring 17 goals in 26 games. The most impressive aspect being that he has done this despite his lack of shots taken this season, averaging 2.5 shots per game. But since Arteta took over in December, his xG has gone up from 0.43 under Emery to 0.55 under Arteta. He has also been the best value option leading arsenal in nearly every offensive statistic

At an 11.1 million price he presents a Premium goal scoring option, who unlike other similarly priced strikers, Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane, isn’t a constant rotation risk due to injury or otherwise.

sergio aguero(PREMIUM OPTION)

Despite the constant rotation risk of the Man City squad Aguero has consistently delivered good attacking returns throughout the season scoring 16 goals and assisting 3. Manchester City have a promising run of fixtures and Augero has also proven himself as a big-game player scoring back-to-back hattricks last season against Arsenal and Chelsea.

He averages a massive 4.68 shots per game, and has scored more than 5 point, 10 times this season which makes him a viable captain option against any opposition. Despite his rotation risk and hefty 11.8 million price tag, Aguero was and always will be one of the best options to have upfront in your FPL squad.

Raul Jimenez(Mid-Price option)

Raul Jimenez was one of the best strikers FPL-wise in the 2018/19 season, and he has carried on his great form into this season scoring 13 and assisting 6. With a Wolverhampton side challenging for the top-4, Jimenez will be one of their most important players.

One of the major concerns for Wolves was fatigue, which would arise due to their small squad and participating in this Seasons Europa League. But with all European Competitions suspended for the time-being, rotation should not be an issue for the Wolves striker.

Tammy Abraham(mid-price option)

Tammy Abraham presents a good strike option. Playing as the focal point for an offensive-minded team like Chelsea, his 2.92 shots per game rank in the top 10 for strikers. Chelsea as a team have been better away from home and that is reflected in Abraham’s Away v Home stats.

Tammy is an option, that due to his low price point of 7.5 million, will allow FPL Managers to load up in mid-field with one or more of Salah, De Bruyne and Mane.

Dominic calvert-lewin(mid-price option)

Calvert-lewin has been in great form since his first appearance under Carlo Ancelotti in game week 16. Since the appointment he has scored 4 goals for a resurgent Everton squad. But his numbers are very promising as Everton approach a tricky stretch of fixtures, with favourable games against Norwich, Aston Villa, Southampton and Bournemouth coming up

His Shots per game of 3.16 in the past 13 games, show great promise against leaky defences that Everton will face in the coming weeks. His position is also unchallenged since Cenk Tosun was sent out on loan to Palace in the January transfer window, so he is a guaranteed starter which for his price of 6.5 is very important.
